Can't access internal storage. The phone boots only in safe mode but it can't verify user because Wi-Fi won't start.

Apparently Wi-Fi is somehow broken in my Galaxy A42. It crashed and boots now only in safe mode, when I clicked option "Erase app data" in the recovery menu. I want the files back from the intermal storage, but I can't access it because the safe mode says that I need to connect via Wi-Fi to verify user. When I try to turn on Wi-Fi, the text stays gray and Wi-Fi does not start. Nothing happens.

So is there any way to get the files from the internal storage?

You can access wifi in safe mode by turning off flight mode.

Actually I can't disable flight mode because I can't access the flight mode button by sliding the menu from the upper screen. The menu does not show. "Erase app data" did something that the phone starts as it would after factory reset.

If you are unable to turn off flight mode from the quick panel, then do it from the settings menus

I can't access the settings because the safe mode is like a first startup of a phone (because I pressed the "erase app data" in boot menu). It asks language and permissions and then it wants to connect via wifi so it can verify that user is the same as before so no outsider could be able to do harm for the phone and files. But the wifi won't start from the "start wi-fi" text button.

You're not making any sense. Erase app data will NOT prevent you a) booting into safe mode b) prevent you from accessing the phones settings. Suggest you try again or factory reset. Either way, I can't help you because what you're reporting is not expected behaviour.

Ok, I've attached pictures to this message so that it would help to clarify the situation. Sorry about the Finnish language. I can't access any settings by sliding down from the top screen. The Wi-Fi start button "Käynnistä Wi-Fi" stays gray and nothing happens when pressed. I can't bypass (see the last picture) the Wi-Fi connection because it wants to be sure that this is intentional by the user assigned to this phone. It roughly says "Reset to the default settings has been tried to do without a permission, try to contact via Wi-Fi in order to be verified as the original user"

...if you are the original user, then enter your password.

Yes, I have the password correctly entered.. Thus, I've progressed 'til the point, when Wi-Fi is needed to thoroughly verify the original user, which is simply ridiculous because the password is ok. I don't know if the wifi circuit is dead because the start Wi-Fi text button does not wake up itself.

The only thing I can suggest then is a full factory reset.
