Camera app on A16 extremely slow

I don't have too many complaints on Samsung, but the one thing that annoys me is that the camera app on my phone is so slow, it's basically useless.

It takes about 20 seconds to be ready to take a picture, 5 seconds from when you press the button until the picture takes, and then you can't press anything for 30 seconds, and then you have to wait once you press the gallery in the corner for another 15 seconds.

I barely use the camera on my phone for this reason. I've cleared the cache, with no luck.

I've had this issue well before the update.

Anyone else with this issue, or tips that have actually worked in the past?

A16 is a very budget device, so on that to me this sound like a ram issue. Hold volume down and power button until phone restarts. Once phone has rebooted unlock device and leave it for a moment to load everything- go to device care app- optimise. Any improvement?

It's not a powerful phone. So you won't expect good performance from it.

I'm fully aware, my problem is that only app which really has bad performance issues is the camera app.

Try to regularly clear the cache on the camera app. If any other issues occur, then clear the data.
