Battery protection isn't working correctly

Today I grabbed my phone from the charger. I always have battery protection on so I expected the battery to be 85%. But when I looked it was 87% how's this possible? Went something wrong with a software update? For detail I have a "Samsung A52 4G" with the newest updates installed.

This is nothing to worry about, just a random event. Also battery protection is only usefull if you plan to use the phone for many years 5+ most people use a phone 2 to 3 years. In this case its not needed to use.

Alright yeh I thought I would say it for the next software update. I plan on keeping it as long as the phone works fine so more then 3 years at least.

Than you can use this feature. What you experienced now is just a minor bug.

Is the battery protection switched on manually or do you use a Bixby Routine for this?
