I am thinking of switching to Samsung, however, I have heard and seen a lot of reports that Samsung/Android devices are prone to boot loop issues. Can someone please provide clarification with regards to this.

Like all electronics, things can happen.
Boot loop is not too common anymore on any phones, with electronics being more robust and reliable now.
One thing I will say, particularly with phones like the A Series. You can get lower memory options.
These are fine for occasional users. But I'd recommend going higher if you can afford it.
If you fill the phone memory to almost full, this can cause issues which some experience. As there's no leeway in excess memory for more demanding tasks.

Like I said before, I've never experienced boot loop and I've had Samsung phones since the early 2000's
I've not known anyone personally that has, had the issue
There are things you can do to keep the software tip top

I've been with samsung for a while now, Using the s23 ultra and just recently upgraded my s7 + tab with the s9 ultra. Never had the boot loop issue myself on any of my Samsung devices. I also recommend.

That is good to hear. How long have you been a Samsung customer for?

I have been doing some research and I am interested in the Galaxy A34 5g. Would you recommend this device?

With Samsung you either get their flagship devices for the best experience or don't get them at all .

Never had any issues with Samsung phones and been a customer since Their Samsung S2 phone which would be still my favourite one.

I've had a Galaxy S7 (European / Exynos variant) and when installing a typical small security update in April 2018 it got stuck in boot loop. Ever since, i fear software updates on my Samsung phones no matter how new they are. Even more nowdays as they don't offer the option to go with expandable storage, which saved my a** back then.

Would you say Samsungs are unreliable when it comes down to this?
