Are Samsung/Android devices prone to boot loop issues?

I am thinking of switching to Samsung, however, I have heard and seen a lot of reports that Samsung/Android devices are prone to boot loop issues. Can someone please provide clarification with regards to this.

I've had Samsung devices for many years and have never experienced any boot loop problems.
Quite often it can be a third party app or Theme that causes problems
Recent devices I've had have been great. Only issues I ever had was while in the Beta software program. But that's expected anyway

For me and how I use phones. I throughly enjoy them. So yes I do recommend them.
Tablets unfortunately I don't have a use for, so don't have experience with them. But I should imagine like phones, they are a feature packed device as well.
I don't know what phone you are using now, but if you are wondering about what they are like. If you have an experience store near you. Go and get hands on with them and see what you think
Theres a range of devices to suit most and plenty of features to customise to your own needs

Sounds great. One of the main reasons I'm wary is because my friend had a galaxy a51 which recently got stuck in a boot loop.

Well some on here often complain about that problem but it's never happened to me.

That's the issue. It is hit and miss so it could happen to anyone.

As a consumer, we look for reliability. If Samsung are not able to provide this, then people will look elsewhere at competitors.
