Android SPL 2025-01-05

Hi Samsung,

I noticed the latest software update on my A52S still does not have the Android 2025-01-05 security patch. It stayed with the Jan 1st SPL version to this day 

Why is the newer SPL not being rolled out and what are your plans to do so?

Please note this is a forum for members to members (customers), so we can't give you plans.

I believe the latest release was in March, but this is according to Google, so I can't confirm it as fact. Normally, if you use a phone from a network provider, they delay it to put it through further checks.

Is there anything particular you're concerned about?

Yes the latest software version was rolled out in March but it doesn't have the Android jan 5th SPL version.

Since the jan 1st SPL flagged some security issues, I'm being concerned
