Access Broken Screen Samsung Galaxy A50

Hi all,

My A50 screen recently broke, I cannot use it or see anything on it, completely black. The phone still works, just the screen. I need to extract the data from internal storage on it however USB debugging means that the phone isn't coming up when connected to laptop.

I have tried android data extraction programmes however none of them seem to have A50 model as an option.

I have a HDMI USB adaptor to try and mirror phone to laptop however that doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help please?

I've been doing more research, I'm rusty on this. It seems with a locked bootloader that methods I have used in the past won't work. Third Party data recovery apps are likely to corrupt the phone so your options are to have it repaired by Samsung who will wipe the device although if you use their doorstep repair service they are not likely to do this.

Did you have any luck with this?  I'm experiencing the exact same issue with my A50.
