A73 5g january update

HI Ibought an a73 5g from fonegiant uk recently . I have just noticed it is a uae version. Will it get security updates here in the UK? I am asking because it has not received january 23 update yet.

The updates follow a samsung timetable. My wife's s20 got the update 10 days ago. My son's s22 got it a week ago. My s21 got it today!

Thanks just wasn't sure because it being uae version. I'll give it more time and see what happens. Thanks again.

Check the CSC. If it's not BTU or has OXM firmware, then it won't OTA update, I would return it and ask for the correct version

Hi phone was sealed in box and when I first set it up it updated to a 13 with October 1st security patch.

Must have OXM firmware if OTA works, January patch has been very slow to roll out, my S21 ultra only got it yesterday so bear with, should be arriving soon with one ui 5.1 in February
