Hi @Kate23
Can you let the battery die so the phone auto turns Off and then charge it.
The alternative is to do a soft reboot.
Something similar to holding down the power button and the volume down button for around 7 seconds. Then let go of the buttons once you feel the device vibrate and see the Samsung Galaxy logo on the screen. Your phone should then reboot.
Or in the extreme a hard reset but this would delete your information from the phone.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Thank you! The soft reboot worked, after years of having a Samsung, I briefly went to the other side, back to Samsung now ... but had entirely forgotten about the soft reboot! Many thanks!

If that was left on for 3 hours you mosr like will have some screen burn, you will need to get that repaired.

I have the same issue, but I am using the phone from last 1 and half years, due to this I will lost everything on my phone, worst experience due to Samsung updates, I was solution from Samsung, I visited Samsung service center they said you lost your hardware and you need to change motherboard, this not completely unacceptable,
