Hi,
I have a question, after last update sometimes my a55 says that it cannot control usb device while screen is locked.
It states that on a locked screen right under touch id.
The problem is that right at the moment when that pops up, no usb device is connected.
What can cause this?

I managed to get to the core of the "problem" using chatgpt *rofl*.
It is just another layer of protection.
After 1 hour of phone being locked, phone itself block any usb communication.
Settings - Safety and privacy - (Scroll a bit down) More safety settings - Block USB connection after lock( Im using polish GUI so translations may be a bit off)
So its not a bug, its a new feature which is on by default I guess

Hello @Arminox and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👍
This sounds like maybe a glitch. 🤔
And if necessary > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

But that still doesn't explain why it is displaying this message on the lock screen when no usb device is attached.
From my point of view that is still a bug.
If a device is attached it should be displayed, Not without a reason.
My 2 cents.

No no no, device just states, that it is no go for any usb device to be connected. Message might be a bit misleading but it just informs user, that any device connected from now on wont be able to make connection if device will not be unlocked

The device should show the owner information like it was before.
So yes it's a bug.
