Does anyone else experience constant notification sounds when streaming/downloading.

Here's an example of what happens on my phone: https://youtu.be/HkYOoSBnfMY

This can't be right - does anyone know how I can stop this? It's making downloading annoying and streaming unusable.

Have you tried turning off notifications for the apps that you use for streaming, not so sure about downloading though

Thanks, but yes I've switched off notifications. The notification sounds are worse at the start of streaming - almost as if it's caused by creating a buffer or something.

If you go to settings, notifications, advanced, notification history it should show the culprit app .

Have you also turned off notifications sounds, I know that will stop other notifications from coming in, but while you're downloading and streaming it might help

There are over 200 notifications from today for the app in the video, but when I click on one it shows that notifications are disabled for that app.Screenshot_20230818_154812_Settings.jpgScreenshot_20230818_154749_Settings.jpg

Just tried that, thanks. It's a temporary work around that will keep me sane for now, but too much of a faff long term. There has to be a permanent solution to stop these sounds...

Weird. Do you regularly clear your cache partition? Sometimes a corrupt file can cause strange behaviour in apps.

Think back to when this first started to happen, did you install an app(s) that could be running in the background that you don't know about?

Thanks. I've just wiped the cache partition, but it's still doing the same.
