Is anyone having issues with their Galaxy A53 5g phone after the March 23 software update, my phone is freezing then shutting down and sometimes won't restart without the charging lead plugged in, this happens 7/8 times a day. The phone is less than a year old.

Might just need to wipe phone's cache partition. Plenty of you tube videos on how to do it.

I have the A53 with the latest update with no issues. As per Fiona's post, I would wipe the cache partition. I do this after every monthly security patch or One UI update.

Thanks, Fiona. I'll give a go, I've cleared the apps data and cache individually but I still have the issues 👍

You could try optimising your phone via Device Care. That way you shouldn't have any problems. But regularly try cleaning your phone memory using device care and restarting the phone.

I've cleared the cache on every app but the phone still freezes and shuts down. I've tried to do the partition cache via holding together the volume up button and power button at the same time but just boots up, as per YouTube video.
I do Device care every week and is showing no issues

Are you using genuine Samsung parts when charging your phone. I use the A53 and have no issues with it. If your using other than samsung genuine parts. Then I guessing that's what is causing the issue

I've done factory reset and the phone is still freezing crashes and sometimes it doesn't restart. The phone does get hot as well.

Hey BazzaT. I am facing the same issue as you with my a53 5g...what did u do to repair the motherboard and battery? Did u give it to the samsung service centre of your country? What was the cost of all the repair? Please tell me everything you did I really want my phone back as it used to be😭
