For the past 2 days, everytime I load my camera on my A53 5g it immediately causes my phone to shut down and restart.
I've tried clearing cache, clearing storage space, force shutting app and have also done a factory reset and nothing has fixed it.
I cant access the camera through other apps either.

If your Samsung phone in the UK isn't launching the camera, you should first check your camera app permissions in settings, ensure the app is updated, and try restarting your phone; if that doesn't work, you can try resetting the camera app settings within the app itself, or even check for potential hardware issues using the diagnostics tools in the Samsung Members app.

Key steps to troubleshoot:
  • Check app permissions: Go to your phone settings, then privacy or app permissions, and make sure the camera app has access to your camera.

  • Update the camera app: Open the Galaxy Store, navigate to the camera app, and check for any available updates.

  • Restart your phone: A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.

  • Reset camera app settings: Open the camera app, go to settings, and select "Reset settings".

  • Clear cache and data: In your phone settings, go to Apps, then Camera, and clear the app cache and data.

  • Check for hardware issues: Use the Samsung Members app to access phone diagnostics and run a camera test.

What to do if the problem persists:
  • Check for recent app installations: If the issue started after installing a new app, try uninstalling it.

  • Boot into safe mode: Restart your phone in safe mode to see if the camera works properly, which can help identify if a third-party app is causing the issue.

  • Contact Samsung support: If none of the above solutions work, contact Samsung customer support for further assistance.
