Hi
My fairly new A53 5G unexpectedly lost all of its charge last night. It was on low power mode, 3G network and wifi disabled. It should have been ok for 2 weeks but this morning the battery had drained to zero. How/why can that happen? It was purchased in Nov 2022 and has been fine up until now.

Can you post a screenshot of your battery usage? You can find more info here: Galaxy Battery - Optimization (samsung.com)

Hi
Not sure, but it had a system update on March 22nd. I mainly use it just as a 'home phone' so I don't have many apps and I close all of them when not in use.

Any explanations? I figure something must have made it do something repetitively? It was in power saving mode, standby with 3G/2G auto connect - could it have lost the network connection (EE) and kept trying to reconnect until the battery ran out? That would be a bit daft? I intentionally left it with wifi connected overnight last night and it only dropped a little battery power. I'm concerned in case it happened again.
