A52s not getting one ui 7

I got a a52s and was wondering why its not getting one ui 7 I've seen that it's apparently too old but the s21 what is around the same time is getting one ui 7 can someone please explain why

Hi and Welcome.

Samsung S series are Flagship phones while the A series are budget phones.

The One UI 7 is the Last OS update for the S21 series and it will no longer receive any more next year. Just the Odd Sercurity updates.

From the S24 Series Samsung has moved to 7 years OS updates so maybe Consider an S series phone next time.

A series I believe receive around 3- 5 OS updates

Further to the above the A52s launched with Android 11 and we're elegible to receive 3 Os updates . Information here https://www.androidupdatetracker.com/p/samsung-galaxy-a52s-5g. Whilst certainly the S series are the premium Devices some higher end A Devices I would really label Mid Range.
