A52s android 12

I have the A52s 5G southeast asian edition. My brother has the uk model. He got android 12 software update but mine is on android 11 and doesn't have the android 12 to download. Can anyone explain why this is. Is it because mine is southeast asian edition? Will i be able to update to android 12 at some point?

Updates roll out in batches depending on serial numbers in each region.
Each region will be allocated a date range where updates will be sent out to.
It's a case of waiting until it arrives to yours.
Also depends on carriers, as they usually add stuff like network optimisations to updates. So can take longer still
