Help needed!  Need to connect my a52s, via USB C/HDMI adapter, to my Smart TV.  (Need to use a VPN, not my WiFi!)
A standard adapter doesn't work (MHL?).
Basically, does this phone support USB - HDMI please?
TIA

We know it does not support MHL without an adapter ie MHL adapter. That is what I have said. Please learn to read and stop making spurious comments about false statements.

So usb c to hdmi cable is not working because not supported mhl, is there any other option to connect my A52s 5G to the TV without having WiFi? Thanks

Your SOL without using WIFI. Even using WIFI you cannot use smartview (on US models of phone) without rooting and using a Magisk module that patches smartview.

Samsung has software locked the smartview function so that it will not work period.

Why? To force you to buy a flagship phone if you need that function.

(If you are browsing this thread for an answer if this works: It doesn't, sorry)

Hi,

If you don't know what you are talking about, please stop spreading misinformation. Delete these fake messages. How do I know it's fake? I'm no technician, so I thought it was worth a shot since you seemed sooo confident. Adapter with MHL just like you said. Does it work? No. You made me go out and buy an adapter that I cannot return. So sincerely, thank you, for being too stubborn to admit you don't know what you are talking about. But at least I know never to trust a "Samsung Maker" so that's something.

I can connect. A52s using type C to my TV USB socket and also via Bluetooth.

I guess that's been tried.
