Hi. I recently bought a a40 and I'm just getting annoyed by not having any vibration when I tap keyboard characters or navigation bar keys. Really? Why sammy?

I'm not using your model of phone so apologies if these instructions don't work for your model @Reza_

Launch messages or something that invokes your Samsung Keyboard.

Press the Cog icon.

Choose Swipe, touch and feedback.

Is Touch Feedback activated ?

Thanks for answering but I'm aware of such things and no item for vibration unfortunately.

The only things I got under my key-tap feedback are sound and character preview

You're very welcome for my reply @Reza_

As I forewarned I'm not using your model of phone.

Hopefully another member who uses your phone model can advise what's on their phone.

That or contact your Samsung Customer services to ask about the setting and or send your question via your Samsung Members App or pop into a Samsung Experience Store  / Samsung Service Centre to ask if you have one local.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

Can you put up a screenshot @Reza_

This is mine...

It would be weird to not have such a setting.

Edit 》A Google search seems to suggest this setting has been provided on flagship phones ! I don't know how true this is however !

I assume your phone vibrates on receiving calls and notifications etc so it has a vibrating motor inside it !

Would you let us know how you get on please ?

I'm not sure about the navigation vibration feedback but keyboard input feedback, it's not a great solution but have you tried installing gboard? The Google keyboard.
See if that adds input feedback, at least while typing

Checked my A70 and there is no actual navigation feedback, just keyboard input feedback.
On my S10e I'm sure the navigation feedback was in the accessibility options, but my A70 doesn't, so maybe it's only a feature for specific ranges

These are all the menus relating to problem I think.

Yes it has vibration motor and the phone vibrate while ringing or notifications come

I've checked again and on my A70 the feedback is only audible not physical vibration, it must be for a reason as it's hardly a flagship feature, maybe send Samsung constructive feedback and hopefully they'll add a toggle to enable it.
