A40 No notification for emails when phone is on mute/silent.

In settings under notifications for both Gmail and Outlook you can set notifications to sound and popup.

When the phone is muted/silent there is no sound obviously and no pop up.

Is the only option when the muted/silent mode is enabled to keep checking the phone sporadically ?.

On my old phone I had an notification led that flashed when on muted/silent, which this phone does not.

Is there a possible solution to this ?.

To answer my own question:-

Settings,

Accessibility,

Advanced Settings,

Flash Notification,

Camera Flash or Screen Flash.

Camera Flash notifies for all including email,

Screen Flash notifies for all excluding email.

The only way to receive flash notifications for email whilst on silent is to have the phone face down to see the flash.

Personally to me it would have made more sense to have it on the front camera instead of the rear.

Quite poor to me.
