A25 not getting security updates

My Samsung A25 has not had a security update since 1 May 2024.

When I try to install updates it states Your software is up to date.

On the Security Update screen it shows ! and suggests I need an update.

Smart Switch states software is up to date.

What can I do to get any security updates? In the UK, unlocked phone.

That suggests your phone was originally bought outside of the uk then imported into the uk. Or you aren't using a uk sim card.

Never actually seen smart switch update a phone before, but on paper it should be able to.

Bought from laptops direct. Guess I'll need to contact them.
Anyway of knowing if it IS a UK phone?

Check in the settings, about phone and then software information. Look at the service provider software. It should read EUX. Post a screen shot. See screen shot for what you need to check.

Your currently on the latest version. My mums A25 is also on the May update when Samsung released One ui 7. The phone itself is on quarterly security updates.

May 2024 or May 2025? I'm on 2024 and One Ui 6.1

CPW/EUX/OMN which I think means Italy carrier rather than UK?

CPW is car phone warehouse and OMN is Italy.

You can try using Smart Switich to see if a update is available. You'll need to download smartswitch from your PC then connect it to your phone.
