My phone has started giving me a notification when it has no signal along with a bleep.  It does this continually for as long as there is no signal, every 3 minutes or so.

The only way to stop it is to switch off the phone.  I can’t find a way to stop or silence these notifications.

Any ideas??

Your phone needs a good signal for it to function properly, it's giving you a warning ⚠️ to alert you. You need to find out why it does.

Hi, I wonder if this is a network setting. Contact your network provider and ask if they can help.

Receiving frequent notifications for loss of signal can be quite annoying. Here are several steps you can take to stop or silence these notifications on your Samsung Galaxy S23:

### **1. Check Notification Settings**

- **Access Notification Settings**:
1. Go to **Settings > Notifications**.
2. Tap on **Advanced settings** or **More**.
3. Scroll to find any entries related to signal, network, or connectivity.

- **Disable Specific Notifications**:
- Look for options like "Network status," "Signal loss," or similar. Turn off notifications or set them to silent.

### **2. Turn Off Network Notification**

- **Disable Network Notifications**:
1. Go to **Settings > Connections > Mobile networks**.
2. Check if there’s an option like **Network notifications** or **Notify when no signal**. Turn it off.

### **3. Check System Apps and Permissions**

- **Identify the Responsible App**:
1. Go to **Settings > Apps**.
2. Tap the **three-dot menu** and select **Show system apps**.
3. Look for apps like **Cellular Service**, **Network Settings**, or similar.

- **Disable Notifications for Specific System Apps**:
1. Select the app and tap **Notifications**.
2. Disable or silence notifications for these apps.

### **4. Disable Signal Lost Alerts in Developer Options**

- **Enable Developer Options** (if not already enabled):
1. Go to **Settings > About phone > Software information**.
2. Tap **Build number** seven times to enable developer options.

- **Turn Off Network Monitoring**:
1. Go back to **Settings** and select **Developer options**.
2. Look for **Networking** options.
3. Disable settings related to network monitoring or signal strength warnings.

### **5. Use Do Not Disturb Mode**

- **Set Up Do Not Disturb**:
1. Go to **Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb**.
2. Enable **Do not disturb** and customize the settings to silence specific notifications like network status alerts.

### **6. Check Carrier or Network Apps**

- **Carrier-Specific Settings**:
- Some notifications might be triggered by carrier-specific apps or settings.
