hi guys im a cellphone techician.
i recieved 16 customer for a23 after they do update it wont turn on the phone anymore
no hearth bit..
reset the phone using combination button thats useless

Samsung are telling me to send it in but they wont cover the repair because its an international model, but the update only bricked international models mainly and they never come with warranty. Im in Canada.

I have been seeing you replying to numerous comments on the issue. And all comment have been stupid advice pertaining to the issue at hand, I was also an owner of an A23 and the same thing happened to my phone. After the update it started glitching and it just shut down, mind you my phone was fully charged I tried all the possible means that you have been suggesting before I took it to the repair shop, NOTHING NOT WORKS. So obviously its the new update that caused the problem. So yes an official software update did cause the phone to "lose COMPLETE power" stop trying to help because you can't, we need a solution from a real Samsung agent.

I raised complaint at Samsung customer care online. They shared waybill and repair the device. I have received my device. It's working now without losing any data.

I fixed my phone using videos from the internet. When I went to the Samsung service center, they simply told me that the motherboard was burnt out and it would cost 8000 EGP, and that the part wasn't available and they wouldn't be able to import it. They suggested I travel to the USA since I bought it there. It is true that the latest Samsung update made the phone shut down and not turn on again. With Samsung I experienced an unbelievable level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism. I opened the phone myself, fixed it, and it worked again. No burnt motherboard, nothing. In Samsung No one will be held accountable, and people's money seems to be easy for them to take.
