Hi ! I bought anthe A23 5g phone this week ! The problem is that the built video player does not work ! I upload movie or file it says that is there ! When i start it , it says that the file is empty and does nothing !  What could be the problem ? I have A8 x200 tablet is have same problem !??

Hi @Nagy77 and congratulations on the purchase of your new Samsung phone  👍 

Could it possibly be the file type that's causing the issue especially if this is also happening om another device, and or maybe try downloading a player via the Playstore to see if this helps.

@Nagy77: The Galaxy A23 5G supports the following video playing formats: 

MP4, M4V, 3GP, 3G2, AVI, FLV, MKV, WEBM

If the video you're trying to play is not in one of the formats listed above, then I recommend going the route suggested above by @BandOfBrothers and looking at the third party media player options in the Google Play Store that support the relevant format.

Hi ! I triedto ! Downloaded several players vlc , bs player and more ! But it always only loads the samsung player format !

@Nagy77: To change the default media player, please swipe up from your Home screen > Samsung (folder) > My Files > Videos > Press and hold on an affected video > More (bottom right corner) > Open with, then select a media player that supports the file type. Following your selection, tap on 'Always' to default to that media player for all future video files that you open.
