A20e Gorilla glass? Dust and water resistant?

Hi

Does th A20e have Gorilla glass and is it dust and water resistant? There is mixed information on the web and i can't find this info on the specs page on Samsung website. Sorry if I'm just not seeing it.

My A3 I think is both these things and it's been indestructible for about 4 years now.

@Vic1234: I've looked into this for you, and the A20e does not feature Corning Gorilla Glass, and doesn't have an official IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

Yeah it's unfortunate that it the a series no longer have water resistance. However, if your A3 is water resistant, it is the 2017 model and I would say the A40 is much better than the a20e. In fact, your A3 has a better OLED screen than the A20e. The A40 doesn't have water resistance, but it is a similar price to the A20e so it is a better option

ahhh ok. That's a shame but good to know. I now know to look for the IP68 rating in the specs.

Ok. I've spent ages on the Internet trying to find the best lower priced Samsung. So you reckon the A40?

Yeah, the A20e is more of a J series replacement. I owned an A3 2016 previously and my friend has an a20e, and imo the screen difference is quite noticiabke. It is faster, but the A40 isn't much more expensive and offers a higher resolution oled screen, a faster CPU, a better camera, smaller bezels, faster updates and better software features (the a20e doesn't have scrolling screenshot which my a3 did for example). The A20e is a good phone, but for very little more the A40 is much better of a deal
