The Galaxy A16 4G does not meet the device requirements for official Good Lock support.

Not much to say with this post. I cant imagine this will change

It doesn't meet the requirements. My personal guess is the extra demand to run—being a lower-end A series—it doesn't meet said requirements.

I have a mod of it on my A25 5G and it works fine! So what's the problem then?

A25 doesn't natively support it, so by "mod" I'm assuming a third-party installation.

Just because it works for you doesn't mean it should or will work universally.

A series devices are budget devices (compared to s series), so they lose out on features.

I don't work for Samsung, so I cannot say what "the problem is."

What's the mod? One thing is if the device doesn't have hardware requirements and another if it has but Goodlock is not available in the region. If former, mod is of no use

It works on lots of lower end A series phones with no problems. Samsung decided it should only be for A3x phones and higher. Their claims it's not compatible on lower end devices is nonsense. You can use Good Lock on the A30, but not on the A25 or A26, despite them having better processors and more RAM than the A30

You can download an app called "Fine Lock" in Google Play Store. It allows you to use most Good Lock modules on your phone.
