Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

I am also experiencing the same problem. 

It all started after updating to UI 7. 

Did factory reset but to no avail. It worked for a short period of time but the lock screen problem came back again.

Since this update on Wednesday (27/8/25) my phone will become unresponsive on the screen, unable to access any on screen apps or even do restarts on screen, side buttons will do a restart, so basically useless now. This can last for several hours, then will work OK for a few hours.

I've removed the phone from the case just in case it was that, nope, still the same.

With the change in screen graphics it now looks like a child's phone for under 10's.

I think the time for accepting samsung updates has come to an end.

Try to wipe phone cache partition
Power off the device.
•  a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold Volume Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system.

I have the same problem! I have to keep using volume up/side button to get phone to swipe. It'll swipe twice then stops swiping again. So annoying, happened after this so called 'upgrade'

I know, apps are different, phone is actually slower to use I think. I'm no techy, but I try to keep up. Wish I hadn't bothered installing it! I won't in future....

I've worked out it will.swipe 3 times to open then needs re-setting again. I really don't have time for this faffing !

Same here. A14 just updated a couple of days ago. Utterly useless unwanted update. Cannot unlock, cannot answer or hang up. I'm getting fed up of the broken record advice on deleting cache. It's a bug.
