A14 NOT GETTING UPDATES (Resolved)

So my A14 I have had since Christmas 2023, and ever since April 25 it hasn't had an update while all devices of my family's in my house has, even my brother who has another A14. Any suggestions?

Ok, with that I was able to do a little research.

Good news, I don't believe there's an update issue. I see that problem so much I kinda assumed it was that again.

What's going on is this.
Your phone gets updates quarterly. So 4 per year or once every 3 months.

Your last update came out on april 17th. 3 months later is July, the current month. So your next update is due some time this month or early next month.

So I don't think there's an issue, your phone just doesn't get updates very often. So nothing really to worry about

It must of had all its updates that I can do because it can't give its self a better chip

Your phone should still be getting updates.

My guess would be a region issue. Phones are made for certain countries. If a phone is moved to a new country, updates usually break.

So you not having updates probably means your phone was originally from another country.

To check, settings, about phone, software information, send a screenshot of "service provider software information". That should let me work out the country.

There is a sorta fix, but I want to make sure that is actually the issue before I suggest fixes

I have not gotten an update in 2 years. My wife has the exact same phone and she has 7.1 UI and the lastest updates as of a week or so ago and I haven't seen an update since April of 2023. It keeps saying update interrupted check back in 24 hrs for 2 years

Hey arian I'm also having the same problem maybe u can help me . Firstly my A14_5p is not a certified device and the last time it was updated it was 2022

It might be in the wrong region/country. Check settings, about phone, software information, service provider software version.

It should say EUX or maybe EUY. If it says anything else let me know, it means your phone is in the wrong country and will not update because of that.

If it does say EUX or EUY, then things get complicated as it should work. If needed, you should be able to do an emergency software recovery to update it. This will wipe all data though.

As for certification, I've not seen a solution for that yet. I think an emergency software recovery might sort it but I'm unsure
