My son had his A05s in his pocket and went in the sea! Any hints and tips on how to dry it out?
If it's ruined, where can I dispose of it/send it?

The only option is to wait and pray. And make sure to NOT attempt to power or charge it for a minimum of 24 hours (I'd say 48) as this could immediately fry the phone.

As said above - keep it dry and patience. Beyond that not much you can do

IMO i woudnt have much hope. Salt water especially is a killer for phones

Hi @C1a1r Actually I think the rice trick is a bit of myth, not really good practice as it can cause damage ( even if some have been fortunate)
Best to keep it in clean water for a few minutes to remove salt and substances and then leave in the open air to dry.
If it can not be revived an idea to use a local recycling service. https://www.recycle-more.co.uk/
If ordering new item from Samsung will also have options https://www.samsung.com/uk/recycling-services/

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
