Hello there
Just wondering why does my Galaxy A52S have 2 messages apps one of them being the Google messages app and the other being the Samsung messages app which is located within the Samsung folder in the app screen? This just seems weird and it won't let me uninstall either1 of them.

On my s21 I can disable Google messages, settings, apps the version with Samsung user interface that came pre installed.
I use the google one and put the samsung one to sleep, if you what to use the samsung stock then disable the Google one.
Just make sure it's not set to default first.

Having checked you can also disable the Google Messages app on the A52's as well . You should also be able to tap on the Google Messages icon and there will be an option to Disable.
