Extreme lag and freezing

So since updating to the beta it has all been very good and a positive experience but now since the 2nd update my phone has been constantly slowing down and lagging all over, then will completely freezer for around a minute, it wouldn't even let me do a hard restart by holding in the power button it is freezing that bad that it is restricting me even being able to use my phone most of the time. Does anyone have some tips on what would be able to help

Same here, restart doesn't help. Nor does wiping cache. This has to be fixed ASAP as it makes devices unusable!

In having the same issue! I just went into device care and cleared the RAM. Not sure if it was just coincidence but the phone started operating normally for now. Hopefully Samsung push out an update sooner rather than later to address it

Thanks good to know its just not me on my own hopefully the bug fix is out asap

I don't know if the cause is the same, but I'm getting extreme lag and the only way I've found to fix it is to navigate to 'motion smoothness' in settings, select the one not currently applied, and click apply. My phone then goes back to normal instantly, and I can apply 120hz again, until it starts slowing again.

I have noticed that unfortunately many users have been experiencing this problem on their devices 😔.

Developers already know about the problem, but I still recommend you to report the problem via the Samsung Members app attaching log files, right after the issue occurs. The more log files, the better. Hopefully the fix will be available soon :hand-with-index-and-middle-fingers-crossed:.

I'm currently testing this but I think the lag is from the fingerprint log in. When I don't use that I seem to have no issues but I will come back and let you know after a day of testing

Ok so it's not the fingerprint reader. I think it's because the update says about the vrr being in the update and the s20 doesn't have a vrr capable screen like the s21. So when you wake the phone up give it a second and then unlock it. It seems to work fine for me every time as long as I give it a moment to adjust
