Widget animation broken beta 7

Has anyone else noticed the beta animation seems to be broken in beta 7? 

The swipe home used to minimise back to the widget like ios but for me it now just fades away to nothing and doesn't look as good.

Still broken in stable, so they ain't gonna bother fixing this now.
