Whatsapp notifications not working

Since updating to the beta no matter what settings I enable/disable/change, whatsapp messages will not result in a sound/vibration, instead only showing the notification icon in the notification bar. No other apps seem to present an issue and re-installing whatsapp from scratch doesn't fix it, nor does resetting notification settings either directly in whatsapp or within Android settings

I uninstalled it then install again but nothing resolved same issue

I have the same issue... Also noticed that popup notification is disabled as well with that msg. Related?

My only solution is to switch to WhatsApp business for the notifications to start working again.
