Screen brightness

I could be sitting outside on my phone, 5 minutes it's lovely and bright then BOOM dims right down and really hard to see anything. The phone heats up way to much too. I tried extra brightness, screen brightness up to max and nothing works, it's just sooooooo dim. Anyone else having this problem? And I have reset my phone too.

I just posted the same thing, go somewhere dark and you will be able to see the icons, impossible to see in sunshine... Hopefully sorted soon...

Some users have reported sudden brightness drops, especially in warm conditions, as the device may reduce screen brightness to manage temperature and prevent overheating. This can also be accompanied by the phone getting noticeably warm.

If the issue persists even after a reset, please report it via the Samsung Members app so it can be reviewed.

I've had the screen dim but was able to turn brightness up to compensate. Not noticed any heat though.
