Samsung should focus on new features and new design

I don't get it why samsung is focusing only on small things with the animations because of crying people like ice universe and tarun vats? Why they are wasting so much time with this?

No one is opening and closing apps that fast like in their stupid videos.

Instead, in my opinion, Samsung should start focusing on new features which we requested, new one ui design and etc.

As for now, there is not a single requested feature by us implemented in the one ui + all the announced features are not one ui 6 exclusive but android 14 features!

For me they absolutely need to get the animations and fluidity right first before piling more features on top of an already very feature rich ui.

These phones do more than enough as it is and the user experience is paramount above everything... its the user experience. If a user has a sub par user experience they will not enjoy and stick with the brand.

If you went to a restaurant that served everything you could ever want but it all taste like ass you wouldn't go back there just because it had a lot of options.

I think Samsung is totally on the right path getting the overall fluidity of the os as optimised as possible.

Your example is so wrong. In that restaurant everyone will eat and will see a problem if there it is.

But here, with the animations... NO ONE is keep opening/closing their apps just to see if there is a skip frame SOMETIME.

AND 99% of the users will never have idea about that. The animation is very good and smooth right now.

So no, this is waste of resource by Samsung instead of adding new features.

I think most of you out there understand this and act on it already, but just a quick post to say that disagreement with a particular suggestion or viewpoint on something isn’t bad if it’s all done with the mindset of appreciating that not everyone likes the same or thinks the way you do; that their preferences and viewpoints can be equally as valid as yours; and that places like this are as much for listening and learning more about that as they are for sharing your own voice.

Hard disagree. For me, there's a lot of little things, which are obviously not what you are looking for, but are great for me. I couldn't tell you if they are Android 14 or One UI, but a few examples of what I like:

The new quick settings

The two handed gestures, such as picking up an icon, then scrolling pages with another touch.

The quick settings access by swiping down from the right corner

Updated weather app and widget

Camera widgets
Shutter speed for image quality
Gallery and photo editor improvements

New modes and routines

Of course there are also changes that I don't like, such as the battery usage screen...
