I don't think Samsung realises that people who buy iPhone buy it because it's the "trendy" thing to do, if I wanted an iPhone I'd buy an iPhone, but I don't I want an Android, so why are you trying to copy iPhone so much, and then also failing at that, it's awful, no wonder other Android Manufacturers are catching up, I won't be buying a Samsung ever again, youre whole design is just copy iPhone but make it worse

I do not agree with this but everyone's entitled to their opinion.

XNightWulf - you've posted several times during the beta process, and every time you are unhappy with Samsung and slag them off.
Opinions are of course - a personal thing, and I think you've made it clear Samsung can do nothing right in your eyes. Maybe chose an iPhone next time?

Apple has absolutely amazing marketing and is able to pursue people the ownership of an iPhone is a matter of prestige and the higher social status,
and in the past,
Apple had lots of advantages over Samsung, respectively Android.
Their ecosystem was better.
Their processes were significantly faster,
their updates were significantly faster
(and still are),
and their after-sale value was higher thanks to longer software support.
Samsung did lots of bad things, such as trolling Apple for removing the headphone jack,
and the charger from the box and did exactly the same soon after.
But if we're talking about design,
it's quite a different situation.
Of course,
situation is not so easy,
like 25 years ago,
where every single manufacturer had its own design language,
and there were plenty of different shapes,
forms, such as bar phones,
sliders, rotating phones,
pen phones,
flip phones,
dumb phones,
smartphones,...
Today,
the most phones are very similar to each other,
and with the same format are possibilities for being absolutely different,
are very limited.
Some features is copying Apple from Samsung,
some features is copying Samsung from Apple.
Every new feature needs a space for some parts inside the phone,
or necessity to make a software,
which requires more space,
the market is oversaturated, and the top, ultra ultimate cutting-edge flagships are so great that you don't need technically change your phone for a longer time.
Apart from the older software and AI,
is nothing,
what the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G from 2019 can't do,
and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G can.
Yes, it's faster,
better camera, display,
faster internet,...
but the way to use that smartphone was the same in the previous decade,
as is right now.

Everybody saying this always points to the Chinese OEMs as innovating.

What they fail to address is that everything they criticise Samsung for copying from the iPhone, such as split notification shade, has been copied by literally every single Chinese android skin.

Why is it not an issue for them, but it is for Samsung?

@xNightWulf from this and your other post it seems you hate Samsung. Maybe it is time for you to have a change of phone manufacturer. Believe me the grass is not greener. I changed to a Google pixel for six months after being Samsung user for 10 years. I soon came back
