Seriously Samsung, why??? Please at least allow people to select which icons they want to see. Knowing about a connected(!) bluetooth device or an alarm that is set is absolutely essential. Needs to be visible without swiping down first.

This ultimatum approach to UI changes really makes you think about switching to other phone manufacturers.

Any news on this issue? Seriously, Samsung does need feedback for this? By the way, how do you check if your bluetooth device is even connected to your phone if there's no icon? The fact that this idiocy has been considered and even implemented is astounding. And this isn't the only issue with this retarded update. It seems like the moto for this update has been "let's chop chop some functionalities at random and then bring them back at a later update as _features_ when the morons that buy our overpriced garbage start complaining about it".

Should be shown at all times! i don't know which goofball decided to remove it without the option of turning it back on. Why hide information that I use everyday behind an extra swipe??

I need this back now or allow us to revert back to 6.1. I have seen no improvements in 7.0 and alot of frustration. My next $1k phone might just be something else.

Agreed, if there's no ability to restore Bluetooth and alarms in status bar there's no way I'm sticking to Samsung after this, I'll pick a manufacture who values their customers feedback more than aesthetic designers who have seemingly never used a smartphone before

why did u think we'd be happier if we need to swap down everytime only to see if our earpiece is connected?!!!!!
Whyyyyyyyy????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please consider restoring these essential status icons. Android has always been a practical, information-first platform — not one that prioritizes visual simplicity at the cost of utility. While I understand that some icons, like Modes or NFC, may not need to be shown constantly, others — particularly alarm and Bluetooth — are critical and have consistently been part of the user experience over the years. Replacing these with battery-draining widgets just to regain basic information that was previously available through simple, efficient icons feels like a step backwards in usability.

Another vote for at least having the option to turn the icon on. To me it's a actually big convenience

Fix, please.
