If you go into reset, there are now several options available.
Have you tried backup/reinstall.
My friend had the problem of not being able to make calls or texts & had to replace the sim card. It was an S8 that I gave her years ago & it had worked fine until earlier this year.

I had to replace my sim card a couple of years ago because everything came up in Swedish. So if I were you, if possible, borrow a sim from someone on your network & see if it works in your phone & if it does, then you will know it is the sim, not the phone.
