Official Screen Protector - issue

This is my 2nd one and the exact same thing happened to the 1st one.  After a few weeks, the edge would start to crack and chip away.  Never has this happened before and wondering if this is a defect?

On a serious note. Never had this issue with any of my curved/edge devices.

Better off posting in the normal Members forum
I will say that my Z Fold 5 screen protector is so far holding up well
