Option to disable recycle bin is no longer present. This means that photos that are "deleted" to free up space remain and actually still take up space for another 30 days.

The option to disable the bin needs to be restored. I do not want deleted items stored in bin for 30 days I want them deleted.

This UI update is a prime example on why I don't usually update my system why remove a quality of life feature like this?

Yes, please add the option to disable it back. Its annoying having to do triple the amount of clicks, just to delete a picture.

And so companies like Samsung and Apple do not listen to their conscious customers... 😞

Absolutely correct. Bring back the option to turn off the recycle bin immediately. There is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be possible for the user to decide if they want it on or off

To all the clowns who thought this was a good idea, you're probably thinking you're so clever and smart, thinking you've made any substantial contribution to the user experience but everyone here states what a immensely, pathetic, unintelligent clown you are for removing a feature that gives the user his/her own choice. Take a good hard look in the mirror and seriously question your intelligence if you think this was thought of as an "upgrade" to the experience. Pathetic. And yes, bring the feature of turning the trash bin off BACK.

I can't be more bothered by this forced "feature" onto the user of the Samsung mobile phone. Really, I run IT at a company that has over 400 mobile devices. They use iPhone, for YEARS I've always used Android devices due to the fact that they did not do the Apple iPhone Force the user to comply to the back room thinking of what "developers" think is best for their uses. This is why I used to Root my devices. So instead of me just deleting a photo, I have to answer a pop up that says "Move to Trash" WTF, who ever thought this was a good idea. If the logic is "users" complain because they lost photos they deleted, WHO CARES! If you are trying to help users that are not tech savvy, then keep the option but set its default to auto move to trach. But give people the option, people that who know how to use a device and allow it to be turn it off. But this is current times, this is what happens, other people decide what's good for you and they make you follow like sheep. This is nothing less than cultural assimilation. Get on board and follow our rules, you have no other option. We'll, we do have options. I'll be looking into rooting my phone today, if that is not an option any longer. I do like the Simple Gallery Pro app, it's $2.99, but does bypass the Trash Bin ! I can either switch to iPhone as my work will provide me with one at no cost. But I always elected to pay out of pocket due to the freedom of using an Android device. I can also look at switching phones to another Android, and dumping my S22. Samsung this is BS, I hope your developers are enjoying their brief moment of fun! For this reason alone, I will no longer buy any Samsung product. Google Pixel 8 Pro incoming! This is the train we all should jump on! Boycotts work just ask Bud Lite, Target and Star Bucks! Look at your TV sales Samsung, they are slipping, to BETTER brands that don't force their users to BS features they don't want or can't change !

Never in my life have I thrown out a paper document and then had to search for it in the wastepaper basket. Similarly when I delete a photo I don't want or expect to search for it in a bin. Please restore the option to switch off the recycle bin. Leave it by default but don't impose it on everyone because some ***** turned it off and then lost photos!

This feature should be absolutely put back, I want to be able to just delete pictures straight away.

Give us the option to disable the bin of the gallery, please.
