Gallery - Cannot disable recycle bin

Option to disable recycle bin is no longer present. This means that photos that are "deleted" to free up space remain and actually still take up space for another 30 days.

The option to disable the bin needs to be restored. I do not want deleted items stored in bin for 30 days I want them deleted.

Thanks for your opinion! You can still empty the trash and permanently delete the files in the recycle bin to free up the space 😊 If anyone else would like to see this option, please let us know in the comments

Youre missing the point. Existing functionality has been removed.
Youve taken the choice away from end users.

I am looking for this function too. Now it takes up to 8-9 “clicks” to finally remove a file. Pretty annoying…

We really need this option back. The experience of One UI 6 is degraded compared to the previous version because of this. The concept of recycle bin is so obsolete. Why withdraw the opportunity to not use it at all? Users were happy with this option.
