Adaptive clock seems to fail adapting to the wallpaper and yes it can adapt to the wallpaper I'm using. 

Granted it may fix itself overtime but it is worth reporting.

Thanks for letting us know about the problem. Please report the issue via the Samsung Members app if you haven’t already done so. Don’t forget to attach the log files so that our developers can analyse them.
