I know the removal of Dex from Windows is not universally popular, however Dex is not going itself. It will still be possible to plug directly into or wirelessly cast to a supporting monitor, screen or TV. Know that the link for Windows is not quite the same though.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Finally signed up for this community portion, just to state, that a SECURE method that meets if not exceeds FEDERAL or FIPS security, and they went and neutered it, removed its usability, and are saying a LESS SECURE and LESS COMPLIANT solution is better. Its worse, lags, and uses miracast, and is way less stable with way more bugs and problems. This makes NO SENSE. Unless samsung is giving up on secure platform KNOX/DEX functional in a WINDOWS environment. Yeah sure, it works stand alone with a separate dock, keyboard, mouse, but uh, you just made it so folks HAVE TO have extra peripherals. This majorly impacts work flow, productivity. As far as security GOES, pushing to use a LESS SECURE solution MAKES NO SENSE.
Must be all the talk about android 16, with googles version that is universal, so samsung just gave up in preparation for the one ui 8 beta/one ui 8.
