Sorry to hear that your are experiencing such malfunctions.
In this case I recommend clearing the app cache, perhaps this will improve the situation: Settings > Apps > select app > Storage > Clear cache.
If the issue persists, you should report it in Samsung Members app > Error report, so that developers can take a closer look at it. 🤝

I then get a message saying "IMS Service keeps crashing".
I have reported this to Samsung.
Clearing cache did nothing. I haven't tried clearing dalvik-cache yet. That will be my next move.
