My icon does not display the correct day number 

It should say 8 as today's 8th September

Mine does.

It's always good to do a wipe cache and repair apps after every update.

Or wipe the calendar app cache.

It was ok yesterday, switched my phone off and when it came back it changed.

I'm having similar issue, I use 3rd party launcher Nova, and app icon displays same date as yourself Wobdot I.e 28, but when I switch to one ui 5, date is correct!.

It's definitely working on mine. Try clearing app cache and even system cache and it should work.

Hi, is the calendar syncing turned on?
Also, try clearing the data storage in the app settings.

There is an update for the Calender app via the Galaxy Store. Maybe that will resolve your issues?
