Battery drain

How is everyone finding the battery life on this beta? I feel my battery drains quite a bit quicker than usual. I appreciate it's beta and I have gave it since launch day to see if it would improve / settle but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. As an example fully charged my phone and have opened this app, read a question on Android auto, took 2 mins then started to type this post, and at the time of typing this Im now at 96%. I'm having to charge twice a day when previously 1 charge would see me through the day no problem. I've not altered my use or settings. (now at 95%)

What does the device care say?? As you can turn off the adaptive brightness and turn down the brightness to a level that suits you. Also look at what apps you are using. Netflix, prime, fb and Spotify love eating batteries.

Battery life for me on my s21+ is pretty much the same as before.
Or even slightly better actually
Its very optimized so far.
No complaints here really

Mine seem pretty stable at around 7 hours SOT with a bit of gaming and stuff.

The 100% to 93% is normal nothing to worry about.

I always do a wipe cache after every update

I understand your concern about the battery performance, as it is an essential part of the device. 

Please keep in mind that during the Beta Programme, the battery performance can vary from user to user. This is one of the Beta's purposes, so that Samsung can test the software in many different ways. The system is still in the optimization phase and the battery performance can change constantly. Nevertheless, this should be improved with the official software release.

Experiences will differ but no discernable effect on Battery life, only ocassional minor glitches.

@Liam44 If you are eligible for the One UI 5.0 Beta  you will receive a notice in Samsung Members.  However be aware it is only available for unlocked non Branded devices and there will be a limited capacity.  No longer open for S22 series .
