Charging issue

Since installing OneUI 5.0 beta, battery never seems to charge properly. For example, last night I put phone on charge at midnight with 52% left on it and when I got up at 9, it only had 86% on it. Any suggestions please?

By any chance have you got the battery protect ON as it only charges upto 85% when ON.

Could be a moister error as I am having the same problem I keep swapping cables until one works

I can imagine that it's frustrating when the device charging function fails for no reason. 😣

If you are sure that the Protect Battery function is not enabled, please report this issue in Samsung Members app > Error report, so that the developers can look into it.

Have a look at your battery usage per app, I suspect some app is constantly draining your battery whilst charging and therefore never reaches 100%.

Nothing untoward there, results as expected but thanks for the suggestion

Not sure why/what happened but seems to be charging well now
