I was already having problems with Multi Control not being able to connect my Galaxy Book4 Pro and my S24 Ultra, so I thought I would uninstall it on my laptop and reinstall it. However, I cannot for the life of me find the app to install. 😞 Can someone please help me find it? I keep getting search results on Google about installing an apk for the Multi Control app on a non-Samsung device.

Bit confused...are you asking if there's a Multi Control app you can install on a non Samsung device? If so, then I've no idea, sorry. As far as both your S24 and Galaxy Book go, then isn't Multi Control a system feature rather than an app?, and as such, there's nothing to 'install' but rather toggle on or off in the settings menus of either device. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick.

Hi Robin999,

Actually, you can uninstall Multi Control on the Book 4. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps > find Multi Control and click the three buttons to the right of it. It will give you the options "Advanced options", "Move", and "Uninstall".

Yes, your right. It's definitely a app. I have it on my S22ultra but I don't use it. It's downloaded from the Galaxy Store

Ahhh righto. On my S23U and Tab S9 Ultra, Multi Control is a feature in Settings>connected devices. Must be a pre-installed app (bloatware) as it's not in the app drawer, and locating it in Settings>apps only lets you uninstall its updates. Don't own the Galaxy book, sorry, so unsure if it came preinstalled on that too, but if you can actually uninstall it, then you would of thought it would be available in the Galaxy store as Keith has pointed out. I can point to the app in the store via Settings>Apps (last screenshot) but can't do anything with it and can't find it in the store via a manual search.1719387561410.jpg1719387561433.jpg1719388009318_1719388009312_0.jpg1719392752155_1719392752149_0.jpg

UPDATE: For anyone else having this problem on their Galaxy Book, open Galaxy Book Experience > find Multi Control on the bottom > click Install next to it. If you don't have the Galaxy Book Experience app, I don't know where to download that because I searched the Microsoft store and couldn't find it.

UPDATE 2: The solution to my main problem of not getting Multi Control on my Galaxy Book to connect to my S24 Ultra was to reset it to factory settings. I selected to clean the drive, but I'm not sure if that's necessary. My workplace installed some security apps and then uninstalled them after a few weeks, but they didn't do a thorough job of getting my laptop back to its original state. 😑
