T7 Touch SSD - option to turn the light off?

I recently got my hands on a Samsung T7 Touch portable SSD. The fingerprint scanner outline lights up in bright blue - I'm wondering if it would be possible to turn that light off.

I love the product, but would prefer it to be less conspicuous as it's mounted to the back of my laptop. Cheers!

Second this, how is this not a feature!? Drives me crazy blinking all night when trying to download a big file

It's so annoying! I would love to be able to turn the light off. Ihope they can release an update with this feature soon!

I'm using the SSD upside down now - can't use the fingerprint scanner but at least I don't have to look at that hideous LED. Just get a regular T7.
