Samsung T7 Shield SSD "There is a problem with this drive. Scan the drive now" every day, multiple times per day since purchase

Good afternoon, team,

I am trying to understand why my Samsung T7 Shield (2TB SSD) frequently disconnects every day, multiple times a day.

The error is:

T7 Shield (D:)
There's a problem with this drive. Scan the drive now and fix it.

Now, this has happened since I purchased the drive from Best Buy on Aug 30, 2023. 

I have tried to switch the cords (ensuring I was using USB 3.0), etc. but nothing worked.

I have the Samsung Portable SSD Software 1.0 and I have ensured that 'Security Mode' is set to 'OFF'.

 

PLEASE help! This is literally the worst experience I have ever had with a SSD. I'm trying to fix it on my own but I just can't get it to work consistently without disconnecting constantly.
