This problem has been annoying me for some time.
When my PC or Laptop enters sleep mode, the monitor should turn off first / go black. That's not what is happening though.
Before the monitor gets fully turned off, there is a signal lost screen and it waits a few seconds. This in itself is fine, but after the timer runs out, the screen goes black only for a few moments. The signal lost screen gets started again after the monitor turned off. This loops endlessly.
Signal lost timer runs out -> monitor stays off for a few moments -> signal lost screen starts again with a fresh timer -> monitor stays off for a few moments...
I am trying to save on electricity and reduce burn in due to inactivity and the monitor keeps looping. How do I turn this off and still keep my sleep mode settings in windows?

I checked through a few.
Standby Mode Timer is set to off so this screen should never show up but the best that did is reduce the timer down to 30 instead somehow.
